The EDI & WP fund furthers our commitment to a more Inclusive Durham.  It is a dedicated fund to support staff and students who want to take forward projects that embrace diversity, promote equity and foster a sense of belonging.

Staff and students can request grants to fund initiatives that help further: 

• The University’s commitment to building an inclusive and respectful culture.  
• The aims and objectives of the Inclusive Durham Framework.  
• The commitments listed in the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP).  

All applications will be assessed against the fund criteria given below and will be subject to approval via a fund panel review.

The EDI fund is now closed for the 24/25 academic year.

The WP fund opens on Monday 27^th January 2025 for the Epiphany Term round. Please contact edi.fund@durham.ac.uk to arrange a meeting to discuss your application, or to ask any questions about the fund.
