Teaching Laboratory

This facility is used for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, plus research and teaching sample preparation.

The Teaching Laboratory is fitted out with extensive bench space, fume hoods, sinks with sediment traps and with ultra-high purity water. It contains a wide-range of equipment essential for geographical teaching and research activities.

Our equipment includes: drying ovens, muffle furnaces, desiccators, ultrasonic water baths, centrifuge, hotplates, magnetic stirrer hotplates, sieves, auto sieve shakers, orbital shakers, ball mills, büchner filters, riffle boxes and high-precision balances.
