Durham Law School’s Professor Thom Brooks was interviewed by the New York Times about the arrest of someone for impersonating others to sit the Life in the UK test for them.

A leading authority about the test, Professor Thom Brooks was asked about how the test works, the test’s contents and how test centres are run. He has written widely about the test and advocated for its urgent reform. Brooks sat and passed the test in 2009 and became a British citizen in 2011. His Becoming British was published by Biteback in 2016.
