Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships

Funding competitions includes opportunities for PhD students to work with partner organisations, which are not higher education institutions, but are, for instance, museums, galleries, archives, heritage organisations, businesses, or charities.

Anyone interested in developing a Collaborative Doctoral Award partnership should contact the Director of Postgraduate Research, Dr. James Miller.

Northern Bridge staff-led CDA projects for the October 2025 intake will be advertised on the Northern Bridge website from mid-November 2024. Northern Bridge student-led applications will need to be submitted by 31st December 2024, as part of the open studentship competition.
