An introduction from our Chair

Welcome to MUSICON’s 56th season of chamber concerts in Durham! Our motto for the year is ‘Creating Connection’, highlighting the role music plays in bringing us together in our communities, sharing the thrill and magic of live music-making.

As ever, the season offers something for everyone, from adventures in medieval music through Romantic chamber music to today’s latest sounds, hot off the page – and there’s the chance to Come and Sing music by Henry Purcell in historic Durham Cathedral. We look forward to seeing you at this season’s MUSICON!
