A warm welcome to the IAS's 2024 Epiphany Term Fellows
The IAS welcomes its Epiphany Term (2024) Fellows to Durham. £2m grant success for Dr Helen Foxhall Forbes
Researchers from Durham's Departments of History and Archaeology have been chosen for a €2m European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant. Led by Dr Helen Foxhall Forbes (History), the team will conduct ground-breaking research on how people responded to environmental and climatic change during the medieval period.
IAS publishes its 2020/21 Annual Report
During a global pandemic and through a re-imagined Fellowship and programme, the IAS was still able to support high quality projects and a virtual international Fellowship during 2020/21.
