[11/24] Dr Ellen Robson (Postdoctoral Research Associate at the IHRR) was awarded the Springer Young Researcher Award at the 5th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics in Sydney.
Dr Ellen Robson, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR), received the Springer Young Researcher Award at the 5th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics in Sydney. She was awarded this accolade for her paper on a 'Cost-Benefit Analysis Methodology for Slope Stabilisation Based on Probabilistic Analyses' that she presented at the conference. This paper was co-authored by Dr David Milledge (Newcastle University, School of Engineering), Professor Stefano Utili (Newcastle University, School of Engineering), and Dr Michael Bründl (WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF).
