[12/24] Dr Ellen Robson, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR) co-organised a workshop on 'Enhancing the Climate Resilience of Fiji's Road Network' at Fiji National University.
Our Postdoctoral Research Associate, Dr Ellen Robson, collaborated with the College of Engineering at Fiji National University (FNU) to organise and facilitate a workshop on 'Enhancing the Climate Resilience of Fiji's Road Network'. There were 27 in-person and 14 online participants representing FNU, the University of the South Pacific, Fiji Roads Authorities, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Water Authority of Fiji, consultancies, and contractors. We brainstormed actionable solutions to enhance the resilience of Fiji’s road network against climate-related threats and are working to publish the outputs as a report.
