IHRR works with researchers from all disciplines worldwide. The Institute offers a range of pump-priming, studentships, scholarships and bursaries to help support staff and postgraduates.
PhD students are eligible to receive funding and scholarships from our various donors who offer funded PhD studentships in the following ways:
1) In conjunction with the Christopher Moyes Memorial Foundation who have generously funded 12 PhD studentships with IHRR so far.
2) Other donors.
The Christopher Moyes Memorial Foundation (CMMF) has been a valued supporter of the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR), helping to advance research that addresses hazards, risks and resilience challenges affecting communities around the world. The Foundation has generously funded 12 PhD studentships in partnership with IHRR, supporting innovative research and the development of future researchers and practitioners in the field.
Through this longstanding partnership, funded projects have contributed to IHRR's mission of promoting interdisciplinary research and collaboration to better understand and address complex societal challenges.
There are currently no open calls for CMMF-funded PhD studentships.
