Further Funding for Unmasking Pain
Our Pain Academy project, Unmasking Pain, has been granted funding for the next 3 years.
HERE North East: Intersecting Culture, Heritage, and Health
We aim to establish the first ever community culture and wellbeing hub for the North East. Ideas for the culture hub originated in a research partnership between several cultural organisations and individuals in the North East, funded though AHRC grants.
A poem for our Critical Care Garden, South Tees NHS Foundation Hospital
This wonderful plaque was installed last week, with a poem by ICU Steps member Diane Bousfield. Many thanks to Diane, the plaque artist Dr Laura Johnston and the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing for funding this warm welcome to the garden, currently well used by patients, carers and staff.

Trajectories of Moral Injury: Future Research, Tensions, and Cross-Cultural Collaborations
Moral Injury refers to the experience of sustained and enduring negative moral emotions - guilt, shame, contempt and anger - that results from the betrayal, violation or suppression of deeply held or shared moral values.
