ANID - The National Agency for Research and Development is the Chilean government student funding organisation.

Durham is proud to part-fund a number of awards with ANID offering a contribution of 25% tuition fee discount to Chilean students.

Eligibility

Geographical Criteria - Applicants must be from Chile. 

You must comply with eligibility criteria outlined on the website CONICYT (ANID) to apply for a scholarship.

How to apply

  1. Complete your Durham University application

    Submit an academic application to Durham University. Following receipt of an unconditional offer or a conditional offer of a place by the University candidates can formally apply to ANID for a Scholarship.

  2. Complete a scholarship application through ANID

    All Candidates are selected by ANID. Approximate dates of results, July 2025 for Doctorate Scholarships, August 2025 for Master scholarships.
