Student Terms and Conditions

Your Contract with Durham University

When you accept an offer of a place at Durham for a programme of study, a contract is formed between you and the University. Your rights and obligations to the University, and the University’s obligations to you arising under that contract are set out in the following documents, which together form the terms and conditions of your student contract:

  • Your offer;
  • The description of your programme as provided in the online course listings at the time of your application;
  • The University’s Student Regulations, Policies and Procedures, and Codes of Practice, which are outlined in the information in this section.

It is very important that you review these terms and conditions carefully, and the documents linked within them, before accepting any offer made by the University.
