Sport at Durham

Durham University is outstanding for sport. We have been a top three British Universities and Colleges Sport university since 2012. We also co-ordinate Britain’s largest participation programme with over 75% of our students engaged in sport and physical activity at all levels. Durham students and graduates have gone on to compete at international level, including the Olympic Games. From grassroots fitness to elite competition, Durham sport builds confidence, resilience and friendship.
