I chose Durham in part due to its established reputation for alumni networking and employment opportunities, but also because it is an older university with a collegiate system. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Durham, and I am amazed at how quickly the year has gone, but I know it has set me in good stead for the chapter ahead. I am extremely excited to share that I will be joining Bayer Pharmaceuticals in a marketing graduate position.
The MSc Marketing programme offers a robust toolkit that allows you to start your career with a wealth of knowledge and confidence in your expertise. It has been a joy interacting with lecturers of such caliber; as well as the colourfully diverse classrooms that encourage thought-provoking conversations and long-lasting connections.
With current examples and relevant case studies, the programme gives you a holistic and critical approach towards marketing. Moreover, by studying at an international university I have met a lot of amazing people and have gained exposure and understanding of marketing in different cultures and scenarios.
As well as grounding you in key academic theories, it offers you the opportunity to investigate all aspects of contemporary marketing and develop a critical awareness of current issues.
