I completed a placement year in Brand Management at Johnson and Johnson during the third year of my undergraduate programme which I applied for with the support of the Business School. The careers team ran a whole variety of events during my second year to help us apply for our placements, from CV workshops, to mock interviews, to panels from returning placement students. The most useful part for me was the talks led by various employers on how to approach different styles of applications, particularly a session on psychometric testing and abstract reasoning which was very useful in applying for the role I was successful in.
