Baseball and Softball

The Durham Wolves are a unique Team Durham sport by offering a chance for completely new players to not only try something out but to excel and succeed. The wolves are a squad of enthusiastic, committed and welcoming players who push each other as individuals to win together.

Started in 2016, the Durham Wolves have taken off and cemented their place as a dominant force in BUCS baseball and softball.

The Baseball 1s have taken home the national title in both 2024 and 2025, going undefeated in the 2025 regular season. This competitive team strives to push and bring out the best in players to achieve success both individually and collectively. As a powerhouse in British University Baseball, this team is excited to keep the ball rolling and continue to take home the gold.

The Baseball 2s are a developmental squad which welcomes players of all different experience levels to build up skills and confidence with the sport of baseball. The 2s are an excellent team which allows players to try new positions on the field and develop a love for the sport of baseball.

The Softball team, started only in the 22/23 season, attended BUCS Nationals for the first time in 2025. The newer squad had a record performance for the club and ended up taking home the silver medal. The softball team blends together the ability to try out a new sport for beginners while still keeping a competitive edge.
