We are a thriving community that cater for seasoned competition fighters, beginners and everyone in-between. Throughout our history, we have achieved great success at both BUCS and EUBS tournaments, winning gold and silver medals.
Durham University Amateur Boxing Club is one of the largest and busiest clubs here at Durham University. We always accept new members, regardless of experience. Whether you hope to become the next Anthony Joshua or Katie Taylor, or are just looking to keep fit and meet new people, DUABC will welcome you with open arms.
In addition to our packed training schedule, which suits all levels, we hold regular club social events which allows for our members to socialise in a more relaxed setting. So, if you want to meet new people, keep fit and/or learn lifelong self-defence skills, come along to one of our classes – first sessions are free!
Training sessions cater for all abilities, with extra sparring and strength & conditioning training for the competitive squad. There is also no obligation to take part in the contact sparring and everyone is welcome to take part purely for the fitness aspect of the sport. Women’s only boxing sessions are also available every Saturday. We encourage everyone to get involved and hope to see you at the club!
