Durham University Golf Club (DUGC) consists of four teams who compete in the BUCS leagues. In addition to this, elite players are supported financially to compete in the BUCS individual tour, where the best players at university level compete on some of the best courses in the UK. The club represent in the BUCS Premier League (North) Northern Conference 1A and Northern 2B.
Alongside the BUCS programme, we also play annual friendly fixtures against Formby and Ganton as well as an end of season tour abroad in the summer. The DUGC also has a vibrant social scene with over 45 members and regularly planned social evenings after matches.
Club range sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday between 6-8pm at Ramside Hall Golf Club. With additional coaching sessions on Monday nights with the head coach at Ramside Hall.
Members also have access to two strength and conditioning sessions per week (Monday 5-6pm and
Friday 6-7pm) at the Sports and Wellbeing Park.
The 1st Team plays their fixtures a Seaton Carew Golf Club (Ranked 72nd in England) and the 2nd , 3rd , 4th Team play their matches at Ramside Hall Golf Club.
