Technical support has been critical to the safe reopening of the department and its preparations for both online and face-to-face teaching, and for lab-based research.

The department is delighted to announce that Kit Hardman, a recently completed PhD student in Durham, has been voted the winner of the JGS Early Career Award (2020) by the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Geological Society for his paper.
