It acts as a conduit between researchers and the UKIPO’s Evidence-Based Policymaking Centre (EPC), ensuring that high-quality empirical insights feed into the national IP strategy. Through workshops, collaborative projects, and knowledge-exchange events, the network encourages rigorous evidence-gathering and practical problem-solving on emerging IP issues. It also provides a platform for scholars to showcase research that can inform the EPC’s priorities and strengthen the UK’s broader evidence-based policymaking ecosystem.
