Durham University has buildings integrated throughout the city of Durham. Departments are sprinkled across the city centre, with some along the River Weir, and others nearby the historic Durham Cathedral. To the south of the centre is the Mountjoy site, which hosts a number of departments, research facilities and administrative buildings.
