For Valentine's Day back in February, we had a stand in Bill Bryson Library asking you to tell us something you love about the Library and something you’d love to change.

To celebrate World Book Day, we’re running a variety of activities in our libraries from Monday 2 March – Friday 6 March.

Make time for some ‘shelf’ indulgence this Blue Monday and go on a Blind Date with a Book! 

Would you like to help someone in need this Christmas? Help us to support three local charities by donating to our Christmas Wish Tree campaign.

The start of term is a busy time with lots to take in, and we know not everyone will have the chance to visit us during Welcome Week. We've got you covered, with lots of different sessions running throughout Michaelmas and Epiphany terms as part of our ongoing welcome support.

Join us at Bill Bryson Library between Wednesday 1 and Tuesday 7 October from 10am-3.30pm to find out everything you need to know about our libraries, museums, collections and services.

In the coming weeks, there will be changes to some of our study spaces and opening times.

Throughout Easter term and the exam period, we’re here to support you with your study needs and wellbeing.

From Monday 28 April, our ‘Bee Right Back’ Study Break cards will be available on each level of Bill Bryson Library for you to use to take a break for up to 30 minutes.

We’ve arranged additional rooms across the University campus to be available as pop-up library study spaces during the busy exam and assessment period in Easter term. We’ve done this for the last few years to support you with finding study spaces while Bill Bryson Library and our other sites are at their busiest.

Our Exam WellBEEing offer is back for another year, helping to support you and your wellbeing during the busy (and often stressful!) exam period.

As we head towards the end of Epiphany term, we’ll be updating the opening times at some of our libraries and study spaces for the vacation period.
