Funded through the Into the Light Place Partnership (led by Durham County Council and Culture Durham), Light Years is a large-scale programme that builds on ideas developed during County Durham’s UK City of Culture 2025 bid. It connects the University’s research excellence with creativity, inspiring people of all ages to explore our universe and discover opportunities within the growing North East space industry.
