Durham University has been successful in boosting Global Opportunities for its students for the coming academic year. The University has been awarded a grant from the Turing Scheme, the UK government’s programme to study and work abroad.
We know that spending time abroad may seem daunting and we welcome and encourage applications from all backgrounds and groups. There is a range of support and funding available, depending on your personal circumstances.
We offer a range of funding to supports students from a range of backgrounds to go global.
You don't have to speak a foreign language to undertake a global opportunity, however, support is available if you do want to.
We believe all should have the opportunity to see the globe: from carers to students from hard financial backgrounds.
We offer a range of support to help students with educational needs or disabilities overcome obstacles to achieve their global ambitions.
