InSync Labs

InSync Labs is a Durham University-founded behavioural science spin-out originating from research in the Department of Psychology. It applies core behavioural-science principles —particularly predictive processing, social cognition, and advanced psychometrics — to capture real-time data on employee experience through brief, psychologically grounded prompts, linking these data to organisational outcomes such as wellbeing, engagement, and performance.

Developed to bridge rigorous academic theory and real-world impact, InSync exemplifies the Centre for Behavioural Science’s mission to translate cutting-edge research into practical tools for organisations, policy, and society. The platform supports close collaboration between the Centre, researchers, and external partners. For further enquiries, please contact Professor Richard Crisp. If you would like to get involved, we’d be keen to hear from you.
