Durham HPC Days is an annual event bringing together researchers, developers, research software engineers, and industry practitioners working at the forefront of high-performance computing (HPC), data analysis, and scientific computing. The 2026 edition will take place 15 - 19 June 2026 at Durham University’s Department of Computer Science.
The event provides a forum for the HPC community to exchange ideas, explore emerging technologies, and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of large-scale scientific computing. Across five days, participants will engage in keynote talks, technical sessions, tutorials, workshops and community discussions led by experts.
Durham HPC Days aims to foster collaboration across disciplines and institutions, supporting both experienced practitioners and those new to the field. By bringing together diverse perspectives - from computational science and research software engineering to infrastructure and data-driven discovery - the event highlights how advanced computing is transforming modern research.
