As we journey to net zero and with UK Government plans to power every home in the UK with offshore wind - innovation has never been so important.
This webinar will showcase the exciting Hydrogen and Net Zero activities in the Tees Valley Combined Authority region including the potential contribution to systems integration of offshore wind power. The event aims to highlight the opportunities that this presents for the wider regional supply chain.
The event is orgnised by the Energi Coast Innovation Group, led by Durham Energy Institute. Through our series of events we aim to keep companies updated about the innovation challenges for the offshore wind sector and opportunities to strengthen the North East and UK's position as global offshore wind leaders.
The North East regional offshore wind cluster - Energi Coast - want to encourage discussion within the sector on hydrogen and how this can help to achieve national offshore wind expansion. Supporting the development of projects to address innovation needs in the North East England that will facilitate growth and help to maximise the economic benefit from this area.
We have a strong panel of speakers and panelists to discuss and debate this topic area who represent leading orgnaisations in offshore wind and Hydrogen innovation.
