The HRPLC is a member of the Association of Human Rights Institutes. The annual conference took place in Lima, Peru this year on 12 September.

An away day for HRPLC members, led by Ben Yong and Lizzie Loughlin, was held on 9 Sept 2025 in the Anne Galbraith Room.

On the evening of 4th March 2025, Durham Law School welcomed Sir Jonathan Jones KC (Hon), Alex Horne and Emma Christie as speakers on “Perspectives on Public Law”, an event organised by the Durham Human Rights and Public Law Centre and the Durham student Law Society.
