Dimitrios Kagiaros and Jane Rooney with the support of the Human Rights and Public Law Centre, Law and Global Justice at Durham and the Law School Research Fund, are organising a series of thematic workshops over the next year to celebrate the achievements (and shortcomings . . .) of the European Convention on Human Rights as it reaches its 75th anniversary.

The first workshop was at 1:30pm - 17:00pm on January 8th at PCL050 and the theme is "The European Court of Human Rights and the rights of minorities and other marginalised groups".

The second workshop was on January 15th at TLC040 and covered the Court's track record relating to "Armed Conflict, Counterterrorism, and National Security".

The third will be on the ECtHR and technology in the Summer term (date tbc), led by Helen Fenwick and Kaspar Ludvisgen.
