Our recent conference

In early April 2024 we were delighted to be joined by 50 academics, clinicians, chaplains and others to discuss moral injury in European and international contexts. A few resources from this conference are now available.

Topics included moral injury in end of life care, in situations of abuse, and among unpaid carers, social workers, the military and healthcare workers, among others contexts. We heard about moral injuries experienced in the UK and mainland Europe, Australasia, North America, Africa and Asia. Themes running through the conference were the effects of context and culture and how to respond to moral injury.
