Biography
I am a computer scientist from México. I studied a master in applied science with focus in computer science where I studied machine learning aproaches to detection of arrithmias in EKG lectures.
I started my Ph.D in Engineering at Durham University in 2019. The main focus of my Ph.D is the aplication of machine learning in renewable energy systems, using in Hydrogen technologies.
I have been awarded with a scholarship from the méxican National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) to do my PhD. in Durham University.
Research Project
My research project is about studying what kind of machine learning and technologies are using in renewable energy systems and propose a novel aproach to solve the issues regarding them.
Currently, renewable energy systems have different kind of flaws that make them less interesting for inversors and gobernments in comparison to fossil fuels ones. With this in mind, new technologies are being applied to renewable energy systems to automatize and optimize them, making them more economically competitive.
My aproach to this topic is by finding a novel optimization technique for minimization of energy consumption and applying machine learning techniques to automatize processes with the goal of optimize the energy distribution.
