As Senior Manager in the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies (IMEMS) and a member of the Core Executive Team, Elizabeth plays a pivotal role in the Institute’s strategic and operational development and external engagement. She leads the IMEMS Operations Team and oversees all aspects of research administration, including financial and project management, communications and external funding and partnerships. Working closely with the Executive Director and wider academic team, as well as with colleagues and stakeholders from the heritage and professional communities, Elizabeth supports and develops major initiatives such as: the IMEMS Inventing Futures Programme; interdisciplinary study programmes and CPD training; Durham University IMEMS Press; and IMEMS’ relationship with Durham's UNESCO World Heritage Site.
