Biography
I am a PhD student in Professor Stefan Przyborski’s lab group. My project investigates the impact of grooming practises on skin pigmentation in vitro. By using a bioengineered pigmented skin equivalent constructed using Alvetex® technology, it is possible to investigate post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIHP) in a range of skin tones to reflect the diversity of consumers affected by PIHP.
I graduated with an integrated Master's in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University, where my research focussed on differential gene expression across the spectrum of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
