Biography

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Leeds before finishing my master's degree at the University of Warwick. I arrived at Durham in 2021 to begin my doctoral thesis which explores some of the ways in which we experience a sense of disconnection from ecological crisis. During my time at Durham I have been involved in delivering teaching to undergraduates on the modules Being Human and Science, Medicine, and Society.

My research primarily focuses on the intersection between technology and the environment and I have strong interests in phenomenological method. I am fascinated by the impacts of rapid and widespread technological change with an interest in the varied existential, ontological, and ethical implications.

In my free time I enjoy music, painting, exercise, and spending time outdoors.
