Staff profile

Julia joined the Przyborski Group following a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London (KCL) and an MRes in Chemical Research, also from KCL. Julia is currently pursuing a PhD in Tissue Bioengineering, where her research focuses on developing human tissue models. Her project aims to resolve limitations associated with transporting live human skin tissue between laboratories, particularly the loss of tissue viability. Successful transfer of viable and fully functional bioengineered skin will expand accessibility of these systems to users interested in their application and will be of great market value.
