Biography

I am a first-year PGR in the Department of Sociology (commenced studies October 2022). I have an MSc in Medical Anthropology and BSc in Biomedical Sciences, both also from Durham University. I am currently enrolled on the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods. My doctoral research is funded by the ESRC NINE DTP.

Field of Study

My research project examines the experiences of UK students with long-term health conditions throughout their first year of transition to Durham University. I will be taking a qualitative longitudinal approach, conducting interviews as well as employing visual and/or diary methods. I am supervised by Professor Simon Forrest and Dr Kimberly Jamie.
