Biography
Heya, I am an MSc (Research) student in the Conservation Ecology Group. My work focuses on the endangered Eurasian bittern, and involves a mixture of fieldwork in collaboration with the RSPB and deskbased research. For my research, I will be using bioacoustic data to determine location and individuality of bitterns in multiple nature reserves across England.
Before moving to the Biosciences department, I graduated from the Geography department here at Durham where I focused on biogeography and how climate change impacts breeding behaviors and the endangerment status of various species, focusing on green turtles in my dissertation. When I am not researching about the environment, I will be spending my time running in the hills.
