I’m Shuaishuai Wang, a new PhD student of bioscience department, our research focus on the plant growth and development under stresses, which mainly research the different responses of Arabidopsis under environment stresses, Arabidopsis is an ideal model to research the plant development. In our lab, our research field is chromatin and epigenetic regulations in plants, which can regulate the gene expression to control biological processes, we use the different methods including biological and chemical, even physical methods to research the gene function in the growth and development in plants, now we find some candidate genes by some methods, what we need to do next is verify the gene function in plant immunity, what’s the main regulators in this pathway? How this genes regulates and functions in this plant immunity? And What’s the relationship between chromatin, plant immunity, and epigenetics? That’s we need to do to answer these questions.
