Biography
Xinzhuo Zhang received his Bachelor's degree (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) at the University of Liverpool in 2017. And took His Master's degree (Renewable Energy and Clean Technology) at the University of Manchester in 2018. He is now a Ph.D. student supervised by Professor Hongjian Sun and Dr. Mahmoud Shahbazi.
Research interests
His interest is to develop new models and management tools for energy storage systems to enable efficient integration of multi-vector energy systems. This will include transport and power systems. Energy storage units can be used at different places in energy systems, but he will focus on answering research questions centred on the role of energy storage to decarbonise all energy vectors in the most techno-economic efficient way.
