Biography
Yujing Liu (刘郁婧) is a PhD researcher in Sociology at Durham University, supervised by Prof. Vikki Boliver and Dr. Cora Lingling Xu. She is funded by the Durham-CSC Scholarship. Her research examines how elite families in contemporary China reproduce advantage by shaping their adult children’s career trajectories, life-course decisions, and identities. She has teaching experience across education and sociology, and has contributed to the organisation of large-scale academic events. Yujing previously studied at UCL’s Institute of Education (IOE), where she completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees.
