Destination Durham

Destination Durham is a programme that supports students from the North East of England who are typically underrepresented in higher education to apply to Durham University.

Destination Durham offers multiple opportunities for Year 12 and 13 students to visit our campus, departments and colleges, as well as explore the city. During the programme, students will complete an assessed project in their chosen subject area, working towards a guaranteed alternative offer from us while developing academic skills. Applications open on Monday 12 January 2026 and close on Friday 20 March 2026.
