Delegates Staying Overnight 

Accommodation: Collingwood College, South Road, Durham, DH1 3LT 

Conference Location: The Waterside Building, Riverside Place, Durham, DH1 1SL 

 

Accommodation 

If you have selected accommodation on the booking form, we have reserved a single en-suite room for you in Collingwood College on Wednesday 25th March free of charge. Bedrooms come with a shower, toilet and hand basin, Wi-Fi access, wardrobe, and tea/coffee making facilities. You will be able to check in at Collingwood College reception from 2pm onwards on Wednesday 25th March. A full English breakfast is also included and is served between 8-9am in Collingwood College dining hall.

Collingwood College Parking 

Limited visitor parking is available at Collingwood College for delegates who are staying overnight. Visitor parking permits will be issued, with parking valid from check-in on the 25th March until the end of the conference on the 26th March. 

 

Getting Here 

We encourage visitors to travel to Durham via public transport where possible. Both the bus station and the train station are located in the city centre. 

To get to Collingwood College from the train or bus station, you can: 

  • Walk (approx. 30 minutes) 
  • Take a short bus journey on services 42/ 6/ X12/ 59/ 56. The nearest bus stop to Collingwood is ‘New Inn- Church Street’   
  • Take a short taxi journey from the train station taxi rank on platform 2.

Please note that Google maps has two different locations for Durham University Business School. The conference is being held in the Waterside Building in the City Centre, NOT the location on Mill Hill Lane.
