Anna Weatherburn from our Department of Engineering has won a prestigious gold medal award and a £1500 prize at the STEM for Britain awards held in the Houses of Parliament.

Professor Emma Cave, from Durham Law School, has been appointed to a working group set up by the UK’s foremost bioethics body, which will advise government on the ethics and regulation of research using stem cell based human embryo models.

The Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) has released a report that explores the gender pay gap in higher education in which Durham’s progressive family-friendly policies are highlighted for being sector-leading.
