A project to improve wind turbine technology that involves researchers here at Durham has been shortlisted for a global sustainability award.

A partnership between primary pupils, astronomers and footballers has created a series of out of this world resources to support curriculum-linked science learning, using physical activity as a vehicle to engage pupils. 

Physics students’ success from across the region has been celebrated at the recent School Physicist of the Year (SPotY) awards.
