60 years young – celebrating community from Graduate Society to Ustinov College

In celebration of 60 years of our international, welcoming postgraduate community, Ustinov College traces its roots to the Graduate Society. Founded in 1965, the Society became Ustinov College in 2003. Join us to mark this 60th Anniversary milestone.

We are delighted to announce 100 Postgraduate Support Scholarships to support eligible UK students from low and middle income backgrounds who apply for postgraduate study starting in September 2025.

Nanjing to Durham and beyond: an international exchange journey

Ahead of the start of this academic year, international exchange student Yukun Tao undertook an epic cross-continental 11,000km journey driving between Nanjing, China, and Durham.
