Thank you for making your mark

As a valued member of our alumni community, this summer, we invited you to have your say by completing our Global Alumni Survey.

Your experiences and feedback as a member of our global alumni community are incredibly important to us. The insights you've shared will help shape how we support and engage with alumni like you in the years ahead.

Changing landscapes

Over the past decade, the world has changed dramatically, and we’ve faced many challenges together.

One of the biggest was the global pandemic, which reshaped how university communities connect. Lockdowns disrupted the in-person events and shared moments that once brought us together, both in the UK and around the world. But through it all, we adapted, grew, and learnt a great deal about ourselves and our communities.

Shape the future

Now, we’re looking ahead, and we asked for your help in shaping the next chapter of our alumni community.

By sharing your views, you’re helping us build a future that reflects what matters most to you. You told us about your own Durham experience and how you’d like to engage with us in the years to come, and your insights will guide how we support your professional development and lifelong connection with Durham.

What's next?

Your feedback will help Durham University better understand its alumni community and contribute to how the University plans and shapes future engagement with alumni. Your survey responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in the aggregate, unless you gave permission otherwise at the end of the survey.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2025 Alumni Survey. With your support, we can continue to strengthen the Durham community for generations to come.
