Thank you for making your mark
As a valued member of our alumni community, this summer, we invited you to have your say by completing our Global Alumni Survey.
Changing landscapes
Over the past decade, the world has changed dramatically, and we’ve faced many challenges together.
One of the biggest was the global pandemic, which reshaped how university communities connect. Lockdowns disrupted the in-person events and shared moments that once brought us together, both in the UK and around the world. But through it all, we adapted, grew, and learnt a great deal about ourselves and our communities.
Shape the future
Now, we’re looking ahead, and we asked for your help in shaping the next chapter of our alumni community.
By sharing your views, you’re helping us build a future that reflects what matters most to you. You told us about your own Durham experience and how you’d like to engage with us in the years to come, and your insights will guide how we support your professional development and lifelong connection with Durham.
What's next?
Your feedback will help Durham University better understand its alumni community and contribute to how the University plans and shapes future engagement with alumni. Your survey responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in the aggregate, unless you gave permission otherwise at the end of the survey.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2025 Alumni Survey. With your support, we can continue to strengthen the Durham community for generations to come.
I fully believe that inspiring people to do outstanding things here at Durham enables Durham people to do outstanding things in the world. Make your relationship with Durham a lifelong one. Stay connected, stay engaged with each other and with us, and help us all to be the best we can be.
Stay connected
There are lots of ways to get involved with the University, either in Durham or as part of one of our networking groups internationally. It’s a great feeling to have helped others by sharing your experiences or expertise and a great excuse to have some fun along the way.
