In December 2025, Durham University Business School welcomed Baker Hughes’s global quality team for an engaging week of executive training.

Over an intensive and interactive few days, the cohort explored leadership, forecasting, planning and knowledge management, financial data analytics, strategic customer relationship management, and change management, with a strong focus on practical application and relevance to the Baker Hughes context. Sessions combined expert-led teaching, real-world case discussion, and collaborative group work, enabling participants to translate theory directly into action.

The programme was carefully designed to support senior quality professionals navigating complexity, scale, and transformation in a global organisation, while also creating space for peer learning and cross-functional insight.

Carlos Sanchez, Baker Hughes Onshore Quality Leader, shared:
“My experience of the Durham Executive Programme has been great. Getting exposure to these key topics from the Durham experts was very refreshing. Even though the time was condensed, I gained valuable insights that I can apply immediately in my activities. I particularly enjoyed the personalisation of the topics to Baker Hughes, which made the content easier to digest and retain.”
