The Centre for Leadership and Followership (CLF) is delighted to invite you to an upcoming research seminar and workshop with Denise Potosky, Professor Emerita of Management and Organization at Pennsylvania State University. Professor Potosky will deliver two sessions, on 24th and 25th March, focusing on the timely and critical role of AI in academic research, particularly its use in literature reviews and the implications for academic integrity, AI literacy, and research productivity.
Abstract
In any field of inquiry, researchers value efficiency and speed, and many AI tools offer to accelerate the research process. At the same time, academic integrity remains a paramount concern for individual researchers as well as the scientific community at large. Recent research has developed a typology of AI tools that support literature reviews (LRs), which represents a first step for scholars to better understand their options and to guide future research. Extending this research, this presentation will describe an effort to model the role of AI literacy in shaping academic integrity and research productivity when using AI LR tools.
