A Top 50 European Business School

Published today, the FT’s European Business School Ranking 2021 lists the best business schools in Europe based on the combined performance of programme-specific FT rankings including the MBA and MSc Management.

Our School ranked 45th overall in Europe – an improved positioning from 48th in last year’s ranking. We also placed 11th in the UK.

Durham’s position was determined by the 2021 Financial Times rankings for MBA programmes and MSc Management programmes. The Durham MBA (Full-Time) ranked 19th in Europe (8th in the UK, 74th in the world) and the Masters in Management was ranked 43rd in Europe (5th in the UK, 52nd in the world).

In the section of the MBA ranking which analyses the value for money that students see, the Durham MBA was placed 1st in the UK, 2nd in Europe and 6th globally. Alumni from the programme secured an average salary of $111,213 three years after graduating.

This ranking follows a number of other strong performances for us this year, including; in the global top 10 for sustainability-focus on our Durham MBA (Full-time) by the Corporate Knights Better World Ranking 2021, 2nd in the UK in The Economist Which MBA? Ranking 2021, and top 10 globally for our Online MBA programme by the Financial Times Online MBA Ranking 2021.
