Britain’s largest amateur football club has been named among the world’s top Movember fundraisers for 2025.

This academic year, our Music Outreach Project embraced the theme of cultural diversity and global unity. Thanks to the generosity of a Collingwood alumnus, eight dedicated student volunteers collaborated weekly with nearly 70 pupils from three primary schools in Durham and the surrounding areas. Their mission? To bring to life the timeless anthem 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong.

Collingwood welcomed Professor Gillian Campling for an evening talk examining the biology of ageing, the role of lifestyle and medicine, and what current research suggests about the prospects for longer, healthier lives.
