At the end of the historic 'Bailey' in the heart of Durham, our fully-catered site is a short walk from the Cathedral, city centre, Parson's Field site and all faculty buildings. St Cuthbert's Society occupies houses on both North and South Bailey, offering students the opportunity to live in the historic centre of the city. This is the location of the dining hall and one of our two student bars, available to all members of the Society.
The Houses adjoin lawns and gardens reserved for student use, providing space for outdoor activities, and frequently playing host to social events.
Only five Durham colleges offer accommodation on the Bailey. St Cuthbert's Society is proud to boast so much space in such a picturesque setting.
